How do I set up the F3 for my first measurement?
Download the FondCircle App, create or sign in to your account, and complete your profile with accurate age, height, and gender information. Place the F3 on a hard, level floor, install the four AAA batteries, turn on Bluetooth, and connect the scale in the App. Before measuring, tap the scale once and wait for 0.0 to appear.
Why is the F3 only showing my weight?
Body composition analysis requires an active App connection and a completed user profile. Make sure Bluetooth is on, the FondCircle App is open, and the correct profile is selected. Measure barefoot with both feet fully contacting the surface. Users outside the supported body composition range may receive limited results.
How can I get more consistent body composition readings?
Use the F3 barefoot on a hard, flat floor and wait for 0.0 before stepping on. Keep your feet clean and dry, stand still, and distribute your weight evenly. For more meaningful trends, measure under similar conditions each time—preferably at the same time of day and before meals. Hydration, food intake, exercise, bathing, and other daily changes can affect BIA estimates.
Can multiple people use the F3?
Yes. The F3 supports multiple user profiles through the FondCircle App. Each person should use a profile with their own age, height, and gender information. Keep the App connected and confirm or switch to the correct profile before the weight reading locks when needed.
Who should not use body composition measurement?
Do not use the body composition function if you have a pacemaker or another implanted electronic medical device. It is also not recommended during pregnancy or for infants and young children. Full body composition analysis is designed for users ages 18–65 with a height of 100–220 cm. The F3 is intended for home wellness tracking and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
