Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy applies to eligible FondCircle main devices purchased directly from fondcircle.com or from an authorized FondCircle seller. For the purposes of this policy, "eligible main devices" means FondCircle-branded hardware devices listed on fondcircle.com/warranty-coverage at the time of purchase. Accessories, consumables, and bundled items are not considered main devices unless explicitly stated.

Warranty Period

FondCircle provides a 12-month warranty for eligible main devices.

The warranty period starts on the date the product is delivered to the original purchaser.

FondCircle Premium provides a 2-year extended warranty benefit for eligible FondCircle products while the subscriber's Premium subscription is active and in good standing, as described in the Premium or Subscription Terms.

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, when the product is used according to the instructions, user manual, and safety information provided with the product.

If we confirm a covered warranty issue, we will repair the product, replace it, or provide a functionally equivalent replacement, based on the nature of the defect and product availability. If none of these options is feasible, we will offer a pro-rated refund or store credit at our reasonable discretion. We will communicate the proposed resolution to you before proceeding.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

  • damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, liquid exposure beyond intended use, improper storage, or improper cleaning;
  • normal wear and tear;
  • cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, discoloration, or marks that do not affect product function;
  • damage caused by unauthorized repair, alteration, modification, or use with incompatible accessories or consumables;
  • batteries, including included AAA or AAAA batteries;
  • test strips, lancets, control solution, and similar consumables, including items with unopened or opened shelf-life limits;
  • cuffs, cables, charging accessories, or other replaceable accessories, unless otherwise required by law or included in a specific product warranty;
  • products purchased from unauthorized sellers, resale channels, auction sites, bulk resellers, or second-hand sources;
  • products without valid proof of purchase;
  • loss of app data, readings, settings, or records stored on the device or app.

How to Request Warranty Service

Email support@fondcircle.com or use the chat feature on fondcircle.com with:

  • proof of purchase (order confirmation email or purchase receipt);
  • order number;
  • product model;
  • serial number (printed on the device or its packaging);
  • your name, email, phone number, and shipping address;
  • a clear description of the issue;
  • photos or videos showing the issue when possible.

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and provide a warranty determination within 5 business days of receiving all required information. We may ask for additional information to verify the purchase, product, and issue.

Return and Replacement Process

Please do not send a product back until we provide instructions.

If the claim is approved, we will explain the next steps for repair, replacement, or another resolution. Replacement products may be new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent where permitted by law. We will disclose whether a replacement unit is refurbished before shipping it.

For approved warranty claims within the applicable warranty period, FondCircle will cover standard ground shipping (typically 5–7 business days) for warranty service or replacement within the contiguous United States. Shipping terms for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, remote U.S. locations, and PO Boxes will be communicated at the time of claim approval based on carrier availability.

Data Backup

Warranty service may result in the loss of device settings, readings, or app-connected records. Please back up or export any available records before sending a product for service.

Premium Extended Warranty

FondCircle Premium includes a 2-year extended warranty benefit while the Premium subscription is active and in good standing.

During an active Premium subscription, eligible FondCircle products associated with the subscriber's account may receive a total warranty period of 2 years from delivery.

If the Premium subscription is cancelled, expires, is refunded, or is not renewed, the Premium extended warranty benefit ends. Products will continue to be covered only by any remaining standard warranty or warranty required by law.

The Premium extended warranty does not expand what this Warranty Policy covers. The exclusions in this policy still apply, including exclusions for consumables, batteries, accessories, accidental damage, misuse, unauthorized repair, cosmetic wear, and data loss.

Disclaimer of Implied Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY FONDCIRCLE. FONDCIRCLE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FONDCIRCLE'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. FONDCIRCLE IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF USE, OR LOSS OF REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS WARRANTY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Governing Law

This Warranty Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.

This warranty gives you specific rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state or country.
