This App & Health Data Privacy Notice ("Notice") explains how FondCircle Inc. ("FondCircle," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the FondCircle mobile application ("App"), supported connected devices, and related app-based services.
This Notice applies specifically to the App and connected device experience. For information about how we handle data when you shop at fondcircle.com, please see our Privacy Policy.
FondCircle devices and app features collect health and wellness information. We treat this data with the highest level of care. Please read this Notice carefully.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you create an account and use the App, you may provide:
Profile information Name, date of birth, gender, profile photo, email address, phone number, postal code, and country.
Health and Wellness Data Depending on the devices and app features you use, this may include:

Body measurements: height, weight, body fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, basal metabolic rate, visceral fat

Cardiovascular: blood pressure, heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV)

Metabolic: blood glucose, HbA1c

Respiratory: blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂), breathing rate

Wellness indicators: sleep duration and quality, stress level, mood, menstrual cycle information

Activity and nutrition: steps, exercise type and duration, speed, distance, food intake, water intake
Medication records If you use the medication reminder feature, this may include medication name, dosage, form, color, reminder schedules, and taken/skipped adherence history.
Support communications Messages, photos, or files you send when contacting our support team.
You choose what information to enter. You are not required to complete every field to use the App.
1.2 Device and Connected Hardware Data
When you pair or use a FondCircle connected device, we collect:

Device manufacturer, model name, firmware version, operating system, serial number, MAC address, and device identifier;

Readings and measurement data transmitted from the device to the App;

Device status, sync timestamps, battery level, connection quality, and error logs.
1.3 Third-Party Integration Data
If you choose to connect third-party health platforms, apps, or devices, we may receive data that those platforms share with us based on the permissions you grant. Examples of supported integrations include Apple Health (iOS) and Google Health Connect (Android).
We receive only the data categories you authorize at the time of connection. You can disconnect integrations at any time through App settings or through your device's platform settings.
Data you share with third-party platforms from FondCircle is governed by those platforms' own privacy policies.
1.4 Automatically Collected Data
The App automatically collects:
Usage data Features and menus accessed, settings selected, session duration, frequency of use, in-app actions, and error or crash reports.
Device and technical data Mobile operating system version, app version, device model, mobile advertiser identifier (IDFA/GAID), and diagnostic information needed to operate, debug, and improve the App.
Connectivity signals Bluetooth and Wi-Fi signals needed to detect, pair, and sync with supported devices. Precise geolocation is collected only when you have granted location permission and a feature requires it (for example, GPS-based activity tracking).
2. Mobile Permissions
The App may request the following permissions. Each is optional unless noted; denying a permission disables the associated feature but does not prevent you from using the rest of the App.

You can review and change these permissions at any time in your device's Settings app.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
Provide core app features Register accounts and devices; connect and sync supported hardware; display readings, trends, and history; provide reminders and notifications; support record export and in-app sharing.
Medication and wellness management Operate medication reminder schedules; track adherence history; surface relevant insights within your records.
Product improvement Analyze aggregated, de-identified usage patterns to fix bugs, improve device compatibility, enhance existing features, and develop new ones.
Customer support Respond to support requests, troubleshoot device and app issues, process warranty claims.
Security and integrity Detect and prevent unauthorized access, fraud, or misuse of the App or connected accounts.
Legal and compliance Comply with applicable laws, respond to valid legal process, enforce our policies, protect our rights and the safety of users.
4. Health and Wellness Data Commitments
Health and Wellness Data collected through the App is sensitive. We apply the following binding commitments:
Purpose limitation We use Health and Wellness Data only to provide the features you have activated and for product improvement using de-identified or aggregated data. We do not use it for any other purpose without your consent.
No advertising use We do not share your health readings or wellness records with advertising or marketing partners under any circumstances. Marketing partners may receive general account identifiers (such as a hashed email address) solely for ad attribution, but never health data.
No selling We do not sell your Health and Wellness Data to any third party.
No AI model training We do not use your Health and Wellness Data to train AI or machine learning models. If this practice ever changes, we will notify you and obtain your explicit opt-in consent before doing so.
De-identification for research We may use de-identified, aggregated population-level data for internal research, product improvement, and public health insights. This data cannot reasonably be re-linked to any individual.
Medical disclaimer Readings, trends, summaries, and AI-generated insights provided by the App are for informational and wellness purposes only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Do not use FondCircle data to make medical decisions. In a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.
5. AI Health Insights
If AI Health Insights or similar features are available in the App, they may help you identify patterns, surface notable changes in your readings, or provide context for your health records.
These features are informational only. They do not constitute medical advice and must not be used to guide any diagnosis, medication, treatment, or emergency decision.
We do not use your Health and Wellness Data to train the models powering these features.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with the following categories of recipients for the purposes described.

7. Your Controls and Choices
App permissions Manage Bluetooth, location, notifications, camera, and health platform access through your device's Settings app at any time.
Third-party integrations Connect or disconnect health platforms and third-party apps through App settings. Disconnecting an integration stops future data sharing but does not automatically delete data already imported.
Marketing communications Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact support@fondcircle.com. This does not affect transactional or service communications.
Health record management Delete individual readings or records from within the App where available.
Account and data deletion Request complete deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting support@fondcircle.com. See Section 8 for details.
Privacy rights Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — including access, correction, portability, and opt-out rights. See Section 10 and our full Privacy Policy for details.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services or as required by law.

To delete your account and data: Contact support@fondcircle.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain data by law (for example, for tax, fraud prevention, or warranty purposes). You will receive confirmation when deletion is complete.
Note: Data you have exported to Apple Health, Google Health Connect, or other third-party platforms must be managed directly within those platforms.
9. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect the information we collect through the App — including encryption in transit and access controls on health data.
No mobile application, server, network, or transmission channel is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for notifying us at support@fondcircle.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
10. Children and Family Profiles
The App is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the App or provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@fondcircle.com and we will promptly delete it.
The App may allow a primary account holder to create profiles for family members or dependents (such as a spouse or parent). The primary account holder is responsible for:

ensuring they have appropriate authorization to enter and manage health data for any dependent;

managing privacy settings and data access for dependent profiles;

ensuring that any dependent is aware of and has agreed to how their data is handled.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses or disclosures.
To exercise your rights: Contact support@fondcircle.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
12. International Data Transfers
FondCircle is based in the United States. Information collected through the App may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards — such as Standard Contractual Clauses — to protect information transferred across borders.
13. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Notice from time to time. The updated Notice will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email before the changes take effect.
