The app is the easiest way to connect with your doctor via a telehealth appointment using the FondCircle Telelhealth platform of devices. You can also use the app to find doctors, schedule appointments, and most importantly follow your health progress. All of the FondCircle devices can be used without a doctor, to, for instance, chart your blood pressure or weight over time - this is all recorded in the app.

Currently the FondCircle service is only available to patients in the United States and Canada. However, if you are already a FondCircle user, you can call and have a telehealth appointment from anywhere that you have Internet or a smartphone with a connection.

It is up to the doctor you have an appointment with. If the doctor you have an appointment with accepts Medicare or Medicaid then yes.

Health records are kept private. FondCircle is HIPPA-compliant and employs robust encryption methods to protect your personal information. You determine who can see the information in your record.

Telehealth is the delivery of healthcare services and health care related information using equipment that can allow for communication between patients and healthcare providers and even healthcare providers exchanging information to provide better access to healthcare services. This work is done using technology like the internet, satellite, or smartphones. The use of telehealth services can take place in many situations, including hospitals, clinics, homes, nursing facilities, and anywhere with an internet connection.

It can sometimes be challenging for patients to get help for their healthcare needs. The purpose of telehealth is to improve the opportunity to get healthcare closer to home, in a convenient location, and more timely way. Telehealth is another option for receiving care from a provider. The benefit of telehealth is less waiting, travel time, and time away from work or other priorities.

Around the world, millions of patients use telehealth to monitor their vital signs and remain healthy and out of hospitals and emergency rooms. Over half of all Washington hospitals and many clinics now use some form of telehealth. Patients and providers can download health and wellness applications on their cell phones to assist in telehealth. Many employers now offer telehealth as an added benefit in their health insurance program.

Telehealth is a safe and effective way to extend the delivery of health care. It may not be appropriate for ALL clinical situations so a medical professional can help you determine if telehealth is appropriate. Guidelines exist for telehealth to ensure safety and quality. Clinicians are held to the same standards of care through a telehealth visit as an in-person visit. Similarly, the same standards for privacy and confidentiality for an in-person visit apply to telehealth visits.
