FondCircle App

Below are some common questions about our App.

Do I need the FondCircle App to use my device?

Many FondCircle devices can take a basic reading without the App. The App helps organize supported readings, review trends, manage connected devices, and keep records in one place. Some features, such as body composition tracking on supported smart scales, require App setup and connection.

How do I connect a device to the FondCircle App?

Install the FondCircle App from the App Store or Google Play, create or sign in to your account, turn on Bluetooth, keep your phone close to the device, and follow the in-app device setup steps. Some devices require you to take a reading first and then upload or save the result in the App.

Why does my device not appear in the App?

Check that Bluetooth is turned on, the device has enough battery, the App has Bluetooth permission, and the device is close to your phone. Move away from sources of wireless interference, restart both the device and phone, and confirm that you are using the latest App version.

Can I share my records with family or a clinician?

Supported sharing features are controlled by you. Share only the records you choose, and only with people you trust. FondCircle product and App records are for personal tracking and routine conversations; they do not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Does the App diagnose medical conditions?

No. FondCircle devices and App features are intended to help you record and review health-related measurements. They do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. If a reading seems unusual or does not match how you feel, retest according to the user manual and contact a healthcare professional.

Product Use and Measurements

Below are some common questions about our Products and Measurements.

Why are my readings different from one measurement to another?

Readings can change because of posture, cuff or device position, movement, talking, stress, food, caffeine, alcohol, exercise, bathing, temperature, or the time of day. For better consistency, measure while relaxed, stay still, and follow the product manual.

How should I prepare before measuring blood pressure?

Rest quietly for at least 5 minutes. Avoid exercise, smoking, caffeine, alcohol, and bathing shortly before measurement. Sit with both feet flat, legs uncrossed, and your arm supported. Use the correct cuff size and keep the cuff at heart level.

Should I choose a wrist or upper arm blood pressure monitor?

Wrist monitors are compact and travel-friendly, but correct wrist position is important. Keep your wrist at heart level during measurement. If you need the most consistent home readings, or if you are pregnant, have diabetes, or have a serious cardiovascular condition, an upper arm monitor may be a better option.

Why do smart scales ask me to measure barefoot?

Body composition scales use bioelectrical impedance analysis, or BIA. Bare feet must contact the electrode area for body composition estimates. Without App setup or proper foot contact, supported smart scales may show weight only.

Who should not use body composition mode on smart scales?

Body composition mode is not intended for pregnant users, infants, or people with pacemakers or other implanted electronic medical devices. For users outside the supported age or height range, use the scale for weight tracking only.

Is the blood glucose meter a continuous glucose monitor?

No. The FondCircle M2 is a fingerstick blood glucose meter for self-testing. It is not a continuous glucose monitor and does not provide medication advice. Use compatible strips and follow the user manual for sampling, storage, and control solution checks.

How should I use the peak flow meter?

Follow the user manual and any care plan provided by your clinician. In general, take a deep breath, seal your lips around the mouthpiece, blow out as hard and fast as you can, and record the highest value from three tries. Peak flow readings are informational and should not be used as the only basis for medical decisions.

Troubleshooting

Below are some common questions about Troubleshooting.

My device will not turn on. What should I check first?

Check the batteries, battery direction, charging cable if applicable, and operating environment. Some products use AAA or AA batteries, while others use a rechargeable battery. If the device was stored in a very hot or cold place, let it return to the operating temperature range before use.

The package looks damaged. Can I still use the product?

Outer packaging can be compressed or scuffed during shipping. If the product, accessories, or inner packaging appear damaged, take photos and contact support@fondcircle.com before using the device.

I found a light scratch after opening. What should I do?

Minor cosmetic marks can happen during shipping or handling, but every device should arrive new and unused. If the appearance concerns you, contact support@fondcircle.com with your order number and photos.

I cannot receive the verification code. What should I do?

Check your spam folder, blocked SMS list, phone number, email address, and network connection. If the code still does not arrive, contact support and include the account email or phone number you used to register.

How do I contact FondCircle support?

Email support@fondcircle.com with your order number, product model, purchase date, a short description of the issue, and photos or videos if they help explain the problem. You can also call 877-899-7770.
