FTM-D1 Infrared Thermometer
The D1 takes a forehead or ear reading in under 1 second. Four modes — adult forehead, child forehead, ear canal, and object — cover every family member and scenario. A 4-color backlight (green, orange, red) shows normal, mild, or high fever at a glance, with an audible alert. Silent mode lets you check without waking a sleeping child. Bluetooth syncs readings to the Fondcircle app for trend tracking.

Design For Family
Four Modes. One Device. Everyone in the Family.
Switch between adult forehead, child forehead (under 12), ear canal, and object surface modes. Forehead scanning takes less than 1 second without contact. Remove the probe cap to switch to ear canal mode for the highest accuracy reading. Works from 3 months and up.

FeverGlow
See the Result Before You Read It.
The D1's backlight changes color automatically: green for normal, orange for mild fever, red for high fever. A beep confirms the reading is done. Silent mode turns off all sounds — useful at night when you don't want to wake a sleeping child.

Night Check
KidScan + NightMode —— Check While They Sleep. Silent. Fast. Done.
Silent mode turns off all beeps for nighttime checks. Child mode adjusts the algorithm for under-12s, filtering readings affected by movement or crying. Forehead scanning takes less than 1 second — quick enough that most children don't notice.

FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
What modes does D1 support?
D1 supports adult forehead, child forehead, ear canal, and object surface modes. Forehead mode is non-contact, and ear mode requires removing the probe cap.
Can I use ear mode for a newborn?
No. Ear mode is intended for users 3 months and older. For younger users, use forehead mode and follow the user manual.
Does D1 store temperature history on the device?
The thermometer itself keeps only the most recent reading. To review trends over time, connect D1 to the FondCircle App.
Why might forehead and ear readings differ?
Forehead and ear readings come from different measurement locations, so they may not match exactly. Forehead readings can also be affected by sweat, room temperature, direct sunlight, or thermometer position. Use the mode recommended in the user manual.
What do the backlight colors and silent mode do?
D1 uses color cues to help you read results quickly, including normal, mild fever, and high fever ranges. Silent mode turns off sound for nighttime checks.
Are D1 readings a medical diagnosis?
No. D1 shows temperature readings and color cues, but it does not diagnose illness. If symptoms or readings are concerning, contact a healthcare professional.
